Hello!
In the second week of our class, we had learnt about CALL and the search engine. i remember learning about CALL during my diploma years but it was good that we can learn again about CALL. This is very important for us especially as a linguist to master the stuff about language learniing. Let me explain a bit about what i got from our lesson.
What is CALL? CALL is actually an acronym for Computer Assisted Language Learning. CALL is basically about learning language. Good for us to know that there are many software that can be used as a medium to learn language. Not only through Youtube, people can actually learn the language through games as well.
Besides CALL, we also were taught about search engine. As most of us know that there are a lot of search engine tat we can use. the famous one is always Google. there are other several numbers of search engine that were introduced to us. one search engine that i discovered was the pipl. it is actually a search engine to search people all around the world.
